Re-brand and interpretation for Yeovil Country Park Information Centre & Cafe
Here at Rocketbox we’ve been proud to work on an interpretation project for Yeovil Country Park’s Centre – Driven by South Somerset County Council, we found ourselves working closely with the Rangers in developing a more engaging experience for visitors to the park centre and cafe.
We started with creating a new brand, and development of a graphic identity using a friendly illustration style as the main graphic asset. We ensured we encompassed all sub-brands on the park and allowed for future additions.
It was essential the project captured the heritage and ethics of the park including the links with railways and the wildlife of the area.
We re-designed the interior space in the visitor centre providing 3D visuals of bespoke furniture design incorporating all elements required by client – an iPad station, display cabinet as well as sensory cupboard box for children.
We designed and built robust hands on interactives, informative and impressive wall graphics covering various content about the heritage and environment – finally sourcing local manufacture and choosing materials as sustainably as possible well suited to the look & feel of the overall project
