Scapa Flow Museum, Orkney has been shortlisted for Museum of The Year 2023.
The museum is one of five shortlisted for the UK award organised by the Art Fund.
Rocketbox provided interpretation panels, graphic design and illustration within Scapa Flow Visitor Centre and Museum. The museum tells the story of Scapa Flow’s role in the two World Wars and its key role as the home of the Naval Fleet. Working with curators and writers we interpreted content in visually attractive and engaging way, providing visitors with a memorable experience.
Brief: Produce an informative, educational, interesting and visually stimulating interpretation and exhibition resource focused on the maritime and military role of Scapa Flow, particularly during the two World Wars.
Graphic design, infographics and illustration to over 200 interpretive panels.
