Are you the new bright spark for Rocketbox ?

Interested in gaining experience in one of Somerset’s most creative and innovative agencies?

If so, we’re looking for a super motivated Print and Digital Designer to support our existing design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate (or equivalent) to gain hands-on experience within a busy up and coming agency.

We pride ourselves on fostering a creative team culture, aiming to produce the best work we can with an impressive client list.

Job Specification

You’ll work with the existing design team on projects; from sketching out concepts during team meetings through to production of print ready (or web ready) artwork. Designing leaflets, to full-on branding, exhibition design and digital applications. Attention to detail and a creative enquiring attitude is crucial for actively seeking out current and up and coming trends in design. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the team with general studio duties on a multitude of projects.

Ideally you’ll have a Design Degree and be experienced with the usual Adobe software; excellent drawing skills essential and an eagerness to learn – passion for the creative industry and a fantastic team spirit are a must. All training will be provided.

Everyone at Rocketbox enjoys:

Being part of innovative agency with great plans for the future, easy going quiet environment and flexible working.
All the coffee you can drink (or tea!). Monthly team building events.

What are we?

We’re a boutique Creative Agency. We’ll use our knowledge to create a brand strategy that utilises great design & typography, excellent photography and illustration, intuitive digital and web, powerful UX, image creation and even video or motion graphics. We produce all of this in-house at our Somerset studio. We’ll show you how amazingly effective a creative agency can be.

What have we done for our clients:

We’ve made it possible to activate the sound of a WW1 biplane – just by sitting on a seat.
We’ve made it easy to find electronics products on a website with 1,000s of variants – that works just as well on portable devices.
We’ve designed a game where YOU can seek and destroy a WW1 German Zeppelin – all from a touch screen.
We’ve designed a digital feedback station for a museum – that can be used by your grandma!
We’ve bought a farm to life using illustration and interactive animation.
We’ve created campaigns to help find a tourism website on Google – when you didn’t even know that you wanted to find it!
We’ve appeared live on ITN news, whilst been interviewed by a Royal, at an opening for a museum exhibition we produced.
